+# Pocket Grimoire
+
+**Pocket Grimoire** is a portable, encrypted, offline-capable companion to the Netgrimoire homelab.
+
+It provides local access to:
+- Documentation and reference material
+- Git repositories and backups
+- Photos and personal documents
+- Media for local playback
+- Network services (DNS, ad blocking, VPN routing)
+
+Pocket Grimoire is designed to function **fully offline**, while automatically synchronizing from Netgrimoire whenever connectivity is available.

+Pocket Grimoire is not a general-purpose server.  
+It is a **traveling mirror and reference anchor**.

+### Home (Netgrimoire LAN)
+- Direct LAN access
+- VPN not required
+- Fast local synchronization
+
+### Travel (Online)
+- All traffic routed via WireGuard VPN to Netgrimoire
+- DNS and ad blocking handled by router
+
+### Travel (Offline)
+- Full local access
+- Wiki, files, and media available
+- No synchronization until connectivity returns
